Our mission
Our mission is to help communities, workers, educators, public institutions, and mission-driven organizations understand how AI systems perform in real settings—and participate meaningfully in how those systems are evaluated, governed, and improved.
What we do
AI literacy and workforce readiness: practical education that helps people understand AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and appropriate human oversight.
Community-led AI evaluation and worker protection: evaluation approaches that incorporate the experience of people affected by AI-enabled workplace and public-service systems.
Independent public-interest research: applied research on responsible AI use, evidence quality, access, and societal impact.
Policy and governance: transparent evaluation methods, accountable decision-making, and inclusive governance practices.
Equitable access and participation: resources and programs that broaden participation in responsible AI development and evaluation.
Program directions
Community-Led AI Evaluation and Worker Protection Lab: a planned pilot and scalable program that brings workers, community stakeholders, and subject-matter experts into the evaluation of AI systems used in real-world settings.
AI literacy and workforce programs: workshops, learning resources, and applied training for communities, educators, nonprofits, workforce organizations, and public institutions.
Public-interest AI research and evaluation: independent studies, evaluation projects, and practical resources focused on how AI affects people, institutions, and access to opportunity.

Projects are designed around clear objectives, transparent methods, appropriate data rights, privacy and security requirements, accessibility, community context, and documented limitations. The delivery approach is tailored to the people, institutions, and regulatory requirements involved.

FAHALWAYS Foundation Corporation’s charitable and public-interest activities are distinct from FAHalways LLC’s commercial evaluation, consulting, and licensed case-development services. Each engagement is scoped through the appropriate entity, agreement, funding source, and permitted-use terms.
